Darkness I have become
Through Black Gates have I strayed
Night has become my homeland
No longer to see the light of day

Darkness I have become
And with it comes great strength
But at the cost of everything I believed
My friends, I have betrayed

Darkness I have become
Evil whispers in my ears
Speaking things I never dreamed
Yet awakening all my greatest fears

Darkness I have become
My heart is dying within my chest
Shadows are eating away my very soul
Forever I am seeking undeserved rest

Darkness I have become
And never shall I escape
This cursed life I chose...
